CRTC Provides many programs to help out the community

  • TUTORIALS – Tutorials are offered in K-12 grade levels
  • PEER MEDIATION – Urban and rural school students in the United States are often involved in conflicts related to bullying, physical fighting, and drug abuse. These conflicts create a hostile learning environment; interventions such as conflict resolution programs are implemented to reduce these disruptions to learning.
  • GIFTED TREE OF LOVE – An annual program created in 2019 to help provide Christmas gifts to all school-aged children attending Calvert ISD.
  • GED – An adult program that provides resources to help individual pass the high school equivalency test. Passing the GED exam will earn you a state high school diploma and recognition that you have a high school level of education
  • SCHOOL FAMILIES – A program that help build relationships between volunteers and students. In addition to building strong students relations among themselves.
  • ETIQUETTE CLASSES – These classes teach students proper etiquette skills and interview techniques.
  • U LIGHT UP MY LIFE – There are many families that are in critical need of food, housing and electricity assistance. “U Light Up my Life” pilot program is a special division under The Conflict Resolution and Tutorial Center which is a non-profit organization.
  • BACKPACK PROGRAM – A weekly program to make sure kids get healthy meals over the weekend.
  • JOB TRAINING- A partnership with local agencies to provide job skill training to youth and adults.
  • THE INTERACTIVE APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM (IAP) – a conduit for individuals needing help with job placement where we partner with local companies to help individuals with on the job training programs.
